Art Space Cardiff 59A Inverness Place Roath Cardiff CF244RW
Art Space Cardiff was established in 2025 by Kelly Campbell, Director of Cardiff Pottery Workshops, as an affiliate organisation dedicated to supporting the local Cardiff community through highly skilled craft courses and one-off workshops.
Kelly, whose initial degree was in Design Craft, has a long-standing commitment to creative education. All courses at Art Space Cardiff are delivered by experts in their field, ensuring that each workshop offers the highest level of teaching and inspiration.
This centre holds a deeply personal meaning for Kelly. It is dedicated to the memory of her mother, Betty — a talented knitter who exhibited her work at major craft fairs — and her sister Abbe, who was studying for a BA in Textiles when her life was tragically cut short.
Kelly hopes that, within this centre, their memory will live on through the growth of a vibrant community of craftspeople — people who, like the students of Cardiff Pottery Workshops, will develop their skills to a highly professional standard and carry forward the values of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. Art Space Cardiff is also the home of our second pottery studio.
Classes in Art Space Cardiff are subsidised for our members at the pottery, we hope all we do benefits the Art community in Cardiff with kindness and care.
