As well as over 40 makers stands selling their handmade wares with lots of gift ideas we’ll also be hosting our ever popular Paint a Bauble workshops and Throwing Tasters throughout the weekend. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Makers Market 2026 such a fantastic day!
It was wonderful to see our Llandough Studio filled with visitors enjoying a day of creativity, community and handmade craftsmanship. From beautiful ceramics and original artwork to jewellery, textiles and homeware, the quality and variety of work on display was incredible.
Firstly, we'd like to thank all of our stallholders—both our Cardiff Pottery Workshops members and the talented visiting artists and makers who joined us. Your enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to share your work with the public are what make our markets so special.
A huge thank you also goes to everyone who came along to support the event. Whether you purchased handmade work, had a go at one of our Throwing Taster Sessions, decorated a mug, or simply enjoyed browsing the stalls, your support means so much to our artists, makers and our community.
We'd also like to give a special thank you to Got Beef for keeping everyone well-fed with their fantastic food throughout the day, Cup of Casa for the coffee and to Mr Whippy for providing the ice creams to help everyone stay cool in the summer sunshine.
Finally, none of this would have been possible without the incredible Cardiff Pottery Workshops team. From months of planning and organising to setting up, welcoming visitors, running activities and packing everything away at the end of the day, their hard work and dedication made the event run so smoothly.
We're incredibly proud of what our community has built together and are already looking forward to welcoming you back to our next Merry Makers Market in December.
